Job Description

  • Provide pricing analysis and reporting for management; including reporting to support business initiatives
  • Work with product management to develop and implement product price strategies
  • Coordinate proposal development with the sales team, operations and scheduling
  • Analytical work on historic trends to develop a database for future prices and sales
  • Prepare multi-year cost/pricing models
  • Monitor and update price lists
  • Validate sales quotations for accuracy and profitability
  • Organize baseline price information, analyze and report on inconsistencies, and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through price strategies
  • Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins in order to develop reports, procedures and tools for pricing and quoting
  • Develop and maintain reporting for sales reviews with customers and management
  • Manage sales product mix by plant, including new product requests, to optimize plant margins
  • Ability to work with the following internal team members: sales, scheduling, production and business analysis departments

Working Conditions: General office environment

Special Skills:

  • Knowledge of sales, pricing and/or production is key
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong data analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy a must
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
