Job Description

Seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager for a dynamic, long standing, and reputable name in community banking!

This individual will be responsible for developing and managing a book-of-business,including renewals, maintaining relationships, identifying upsell opportunities, working closely with branch staff and colleagues, increasing market visibility and awareness in market area through civic involvement, and developing positive and profitable networks within the business community.

This professional will be stepping into a well established portfolio and working directly with the president of the bank, with strong career growth here!


Required Skills-

  • Ability to analyze complex business loan requests, evaluate financial capacity and underwrite loans to identify strengths/weaknesses, recommend pricing, terms, risk grades, and controls,. Evaluate liquidation value of collateral, specify sources of repayment, assess industry, business and management risks, etc.
  • Ability to prepare written requests for approval of loans.
  • Utilization of financial statement/tax return analytical software programs to determine cash flow, financial trends and evaluate performance in relation to an appropriate peer group.
  • Business development, relationship building, and analytical skills essential

Required Experience-

  • Five years of professional level business sales, business development, and operational experience in a financial institution, which includes a combination of deposit and lending technical skills. Demonstrated sales results and business lending production and management.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, business administration, or related field, preferred. Other industry training in business lending, sales and finance, plus job experience, can substitute.
