Job Description

An established community-oriented financial institution in the area is confidentially looking to add a Commercial Credit Underwriter to their team. Responsibilities Include:

Analyze credit information and business financial statements
Review C&I, commercial real estate, and other business loans
Performs credit administration, financial analysis, monitoring and due diligence review of various financial packages and loan originations for the association and other reports as requested by management.
Ensures that all assigned loans are properly risk rated, assigned loss given defaults are correct and performance status assignments are proper.
Maintain an assigned portfolio of credits
Perform risk management responsibilities

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (can be substituted with 3+ years direct experience)
Three (3) or more years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, specifically with USDA and/or SBA processing
Accounting Background a plus but not required
Experience in the administration and analysis of credit and working with commercial and mortgage loans preferred
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated risk management skills
