CRA and Fair Lending Officer

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Alternatively, multiple years of CRA or Fair Lending experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • Prior experience in CRA and/or Fair Lending is required.
  • Familiarity with ISB or Large Bank CRA examinations preferred.
  • Prior experience in Regulatory Compliance is preferred.
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office in particular MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer and mortgage lending operations and services.
  • Experience with loan origination and loan servicing systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations, rules, and guidelines, including those related to lending.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Effective presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, peers, and management
  • Well-organized, efficient, detail-oriented, self-starter, able to work independently.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research, interpret and understand laws and regulations, and provide workable recommendations and solutions to problems.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
