Credit Analyst

I am a third-party recruiter in the banking industry, and I have a real job to fill for a Credit Analyst in a client company that I have placed with before. I have other needs in the state of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. I am excited to help find a top candidate for this wonderful, team-oriented, communicative, and family-friendly community bank! This is a more laid-back community bank with a staff that covers for each other for family activities. The manager of the loan department states that the other Credit analysts work about 39-40 hours a week.

My desire is that both my companies and my candidates are delighted in the confidential hiring process.

The ideal candidate for this position will have current work experience in a banking or financial institution and will know how to get all of the proper documentation for working the background information on many types of loans, especially more complicated loans such as commercial and agricultural loans. This individual will work closely with loan officers and customers gathering information as needed. A proven ability to make good decisions for approving loans is vital. Management and mentorship or leadership for training others is also a key element in the successful hired person. This is the person who will have the stamp of approval on some loans.

The ability to accurately file reports and data and knowledge of current software for banking is desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for success. The ability to defend decisions in a professional manner, in a communicative and team positive way is an ideal people skill.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Agricultural experience especially finance/budgeting/farm management
  • 2-7 years banking credit specific experience
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • An ideal candidate for this type of role will be comfortable making black/white business decisions based on a regulatory rubric.
