Electrical Project Engineer - Commercial Electrical

A growing electrical contractor is looking to add an Electrical Project Engineer to their team. The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. They offer competitive salary (DOE), bonus opportunity, and benefits package.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state laws; provide status updates and maintain documentation records
  • Responsible for material requisition, submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-thoroughs, change orders request for information, pay application support and closeout documents
  • Assist with the management of the bid process, analyze blueprints/specification, review proposals/project requirements and coordinate materials procurement.

Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Electrical Project Engineer Experience
  • Experience preparing take-offs and estimating for change orders
  • Knowledge of NECA Codes
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the company image
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership and project success
  • Ability to work in fast-paced setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry relevant software
