Job Description

I am working with a reputable Aerospace Manufactoring Company in the area who are a global player and produce highly specifified composites for various clients! They are leaders in their field and are currently on the search for a talented Estimator to be an integral part of their team. This role relies heavily on knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical drawings, engineering sketches, and CAD models.

Must be able to:

  • Review customer drawings and develop material lists (BOM).
  • Determine special equipment that may be required for the build.
  • Research parts to estimate costs.
  • Review customer Request for Quote (RFQ) and prepare quotes utilizing support personnel as required.
  • Review quote information and create/submit bid to customers within the required time frame.
  • Coordinate with customers and technicians on technical issues related to drawings and build.
  • Control drawings using current processes and procedures


  • 5+ Years of experience estimating and quoting the cost of manufacturing and time to build.
  • Written and verbal communication skills to support teamwork and collaboration cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of: Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel and Access
  • ERP experience - E2 by Shoptech a plus.
  • Extremely well-organized and able to consistently meet stringent deadlines of multiple RFQs while working with minimal supervision and sometimes minimal information.
  • Able to complete tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical measuring tools and displays ability to program CNC Machines.
  • Experience with government contracts is a plus.
