Job Description

Seeking a an experienced Financial Controller
with significant Cost Accounting and manufacturing experience with the desire and capability to
manage and provide leadership to the Accounting Department on a daily basis. This individual
should possess a strong accounting background, strong analytical skills, spreadsheet
experience, strong cost accounting knowledge and experience in the preparation of financial
statements, reporting, and financial analysis. The Financial Controller will focus on providing
analysis and participating in the elimination of non-value-added activities.

The Financial Controller position exercises supervision over employees in Accounting / Accounts
Payable. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies
and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining
employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Functions
1. Manages and coordinates the process of closing the monthly general ledger, including
the preparation of the financial statements, consolidated reporting, Cash Flow forecasts
and monthly financial statement forecasting and analysis of actual vs. budgeted results.
2. Reviews and interprets the results of the company's financial performance on a monthly
basis utilizing value stream profitability reports, customer profitability reports, product
profitability reports, the under / over analysis, comparative expense account analysis
and functional tools to accurately report the monthly financial results to the CEO.
3. Drive the budget preparation and forecast of the current year plan.
4. Leads and prepares the Annual Operating Plan to meet the time line as established.
