Job Description

This family focused legacy company is hiring a Sanitation Manager in the Food Production Industry.

They are an SQF Level 2 facility with BRC audits. They process dry commodities - no poultry, dairy or eggs.

Company is a rare find with extremely LOW turnover. This is a growth based position. They provide both pension and 401k as well as health insurance and life paid entirely by the company - how much larger would you paycheck be without the expense of health insurance??

The Sanitation Supervisor provides training, leadership and development of associates, performs safety training and audits, supervises areas of responsibility, and helps oversee day to day Sanitation and housekeeping services for the food service industry

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Sanitation Team
  • Work with QA Team to stay on top of new requirements
  • Supervision of crews during daily line sanitation.
  • Dispensing and monitoring chemical usage and proper PPE usage of crews.
  • Help ensure GMP requirements are being met and corrected if violated.
  • Assign duties to crewmembers each evening and move them from task to task as needed to ensure on-time startup each morning.
  • Send daily log email documenting events, timelines, etc. each morning to customer and GDI management for monitoring.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and other administrative duties.
  • Build a strong team atmosphere and cultivate positive working relationships with our customer staff.

Requirements:

  • Must value culture and people above all else
  • Must be familiar with the chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing production facilities.
  • Must be familiar with the GMP's and Lockout-Tagout policy and procedure.
  • Bi-Lingual preferred but not required.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
