A growing truss and lumber manufacturing company is urgently seeking and Inside Sales Coordinator! This position is the link between the company and the customer to promote their high-quality products, and provide exceptional customer service. Our Outside Sales Associates depend on the Inside Sales Coordinator to handle the minutiae of the Outside Sales Associate, and therefore, it's crucial that the Inside Sales Coordinator is dependable and can be relied on to uphold their responsibilities without having to be micromanaged. Building relationships internally and externally are also keys to this role. Experience in lumber and/or truss industry is a must.


  • Liaison between Outside Sales Associate and customers, both existing and new.
  • Maintains account activities such as change orders, warranties, or vendor services up to date.
  • Helps Accounting and Outside Sales Associates to resolve problems as they arise with their assigned customers.
  • Displays and demonstrates product knowledge, using samples or catalogs, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Regularly interprets blueprints, performs takeoffs, and provides new bids/quotes to customers.
  • Evaluates customer needs and uses his/her discretion to recommend products or solutions.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into Project Management software.
  • Superior communication skills are crucial. The Inside Sales Coordinator must understand message and deliver it clearly and precisely to customers and to various departments within the organization.
  • Completes tasks and follows through from start to finish.
  • Comply with all appropriate company, state and federal policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Other job responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bi-Lingual (Preferred)
  • Administrative: 5 years (Preferred)
  • At least one year of Coordinating experience in a lumber/truss industry is a must.
  • Lumber/Truss Industry Related: 1 year
  • 3+ years of sales experience in manufacturing and/or truss and lumber industry
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
