Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for regular communication with the client from initial effort, through the entire course of agreement activity, and in post-agreement marketing activities. Regular communication with assigned Principals and Office Managers is required and essential in relation to project statuses and performances. You will be responsible for managing the project as a whole as well as all of the details involved. Emphasis of civil engineering experience and knowledge is expected to be in site development, grading, utilities, and drainage design.

Required Skills:

  • Maintain ongoing client relationships, pursue new professional connections, and seek new project opportunities with new and current clients.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Coordinates, writes and/or edits specifications applicable to civil engineering
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting/approval process as it relates to civil engineering
  • Be responsible for setting goals, evaluating staff performance, and serving as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff members.
  • Thorough understanding of building systems and site requirements as it relates to civil engineering (Structural, MEP, Civil & Geo-Tech)
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and conscientious
  • Be expected to meet or exceed group and individual performance goals.
  • Communicate project requirements to all team members.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2016 and 2018

Required Experience:

  • 7-15 years' experience

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • P.E. licensure in the state of California
