Maintenance planner

Qualifications:

• Assist Maintenance Manager in initiating preventive maintenance program and coordinating activities. Hands-on field measurements are included in this duty.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of the full manufacturing process; must be knowledgeable in all aspects of manufacturing equipment maintenance.

• Develop mid to long-term maintenance plans for major plant equipment.

• Subject matter expert in computerized maintenance management system.

• Assist plant and process engineers in developing an optimization program for equipment repair.

• Plan and schedule all work order activities- PM, PdM, CM.

• Responsible for collecting equipment data, updating, developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive maintenance programs.

• Expert in identifying equipment manuals, part, and tools for specific work order request.

• Administration of the maintenance planning system.

• Responsible for planning and scheduling efficiency.

• Responsible for planning and scheduling training to maintain consistency.

• Other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager.

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum 8 years' experience as a maintenance technician

• Minimum Five years' experience as Maintenance planner

• Minimum Five years managing CMMS.

• knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems/parts required and understanding of basic financial concepts, such as estimating and budgeting.

• Proficient in Microsoft excel

• Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills to work effectively with business partners and working groups to meet mutual goals

• Well organized and detail oriented with ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously with demonstrated proficiency in the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
