Well established company with great reputation is looking for a Production Operator in various locations throughout the United States, in the Environmental, Waste, Recycling, Renewables, Energy, or Oil and Gas industries.

Key Responsibilities: As a Production Operator your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE)
* Being familiar with the HSSE Management Systems and actively participating in its implementation
* Understanding and supporting the importance of sustainable development
* Being able to recognize job hazards, stopping work and correcting the situation
* Actively participating in Management of Change (MOC) issues
* Actively participate in the Behavior Based Safety Management (BBSM)
* Developing an understanding of the Contractor Safety Management
* Having an understanding and good working knowledge of HSS&E standards such as the Risk Matrix, Permit to Work and Lock Out / Tag Out
* Utilizing work procedures to safely execute job tasks
* Being able to review, update and present job procedures to peers
* Demonstrating defensive driving behaviors
* Working well in a team environment
* Working with team members to understand failures and establishing preventative maintenance procedures
* Working with other field surveillance team members to standardize data input, data extraction and measurement for bench-marking purposes
* Working with team members to share and implement best materials or contract services not immediately available
* Assisting Operations Technicians in coordinating contractor activities related to production surveillance activities and tasks
* Assisting Operations Technicians utilizing IT tools to reduce repetitive equipment failures resulting in call outs and overtime
* Communicating with the Operations Technician regarding potential well/facility problems, lift optimization and enhancement opportunities


* Being capable of operating single and multi-well gas / oil facilities
* Thoroughly understanding and having the relevant experience to operate 2 & 3-phase separators
* Thorough working knowledge of SCADA systems, review reports and prioritize daily work tasks
* Assisting in the development of a Clean, Lubricate, Adjust, Inspect and Repair (CLAIR) task list and implementing it as the primary directive for daily well surveillance
* Monitoring online time and current production rates of all wells to ensure maximum well up-time and performance
* Understanding custody transfer procedures for condensate sales, this includes internal guidelines such as tank gauging procedures and external guidelines
* Comparing well production actual rates against well production targets and assist in the development and execution of action plans to close the gap
* Responding to well shutdown alarms as directed by the SCADA system
* When on call responding to all facility or well alarms.
* Thoroughly understanding facility and well safety shutdown systems - cause and effect
* Utilizing IT tools to monitor well and facility online time
* Serving as a Key enabler in improving facility up-time, well performance and overall production delivery by understanding of the overall surveillance objectives and associated work processes
* Must be experienced in gas well producing operations including natural flow and other forms of artificial lift such as plunger lift
* Must understand hydrate formation and have experience regarding the safe removal of hydrates
* Serving as a subject matter expert on facility operations and works to promote operational excellence across geographic and operational areas
* Must be willing to learn SAP to input equipment repair notifications
* Submitting regular time and exceptions to central timekeeper


* Minimum of three (3) years of progressive oil & gas production operations experience OR related Military experience is preferred
* Formal education (i.e., an Associate's degree in Process Technology or a Maintenance certification) and/or training related to production operations or a related skill area is preferred
* Previous experience in a petro-chemical facility, an industrial or manufacturing environment or prior military experience and/or training is preferred
* Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future without requiring sponsorship
* Must currently hold or be able to qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
* Must be able to read, speak, and write English fluently and understand operating procedures
* Must demonstrate a competency at using a process computer interface to manipulate and control an operating process unit
* Emergency Response and/or Fire Fighting training, experience, and/or certification is preferred
* Must possess and maintain a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
* With or without reasonable accommodations, be willing to work at heights; climb ladders and stairs; walk on high elevation grating; work in inclement weather; work around loud industrial equipment; work in compact and confined spaces; and work outdoors
* Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)
* Willing to be on call and meet call-out standards to respond to site responsibilities and emergencies
* Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation and able to use safe lifting techniques with the use of heavy equipment
* Willingness to work in an environment that requires the daily use of computers
