Job Description

Site Development Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers in the drafting and design of land development projects ranging anywhere from 1 to 160 acres
  • Prepare design documents for civil systems (land development, transportation, municipal, drainage, water and sanitary sewer design), including calculations, drawings and civil specifications.
  • Review local zoning codes, preliminary entitlements, process requirement submittals, and permitting requirements
  • understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting/approval process as it relates to civil engineering and coordinate project work with all project team members
  • Assist in maintaining client relationships by providing exceptional services and quality through our deliverable
  • Leadership skills and the ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to client

Required Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of building systems and site requirements as it relates to civil engineering (Structural, MEP, Civil & Geo-Tech)
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and conscientious
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, CIVIL3D
  • 4-15 years' experience
  • Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering
  • P.E. licensure preferred
