Job Summary:

A multi-disciplined Engineering and Land Surveying firm is looking to add a Project Surveyor to their team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to perform a variety of in-office duties associated with Land Surveying and Civil Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a background working out in the field and in the office. With guidance from the Department Manager, you will provide guidance on various project details, assisting the Field Crews, and preparing computer-aided designs.

Project Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with clients, preparing proposals and contracts. and managing budgets
  • Providing guidance and direction to the Survey Field Crew
  • Providing guidance to Engineering and Surveying Technicians
  • Managing the survey aspects of civil engineering projects
  • Performing occasional fieldwork associated with Land Surveying, Engineering, and Construction Projects

Project Surveyor Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in all aspects of Land Surveying
  • PLS or Certified Survey Technician would be preferred
  • Previous experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble Equipment
  • An Associates Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related degree is required
