ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Commercial Electrical

A medium sized electrical/low voltage contractor is looking to add a Project Manager/Estimator to their team in your area. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy commercial, industrial, military. instrumentation and healthcare. Be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. Must be able to Perform Change Orders , RFI's , Submittals on cloud based Project Management Software. Coordinate and support multiple Supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:
* 3-5+ years' experience as a PM excluding trade experience
* Master Electrician, equivalent bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
* Possess a thorough understanding of NEC code requirements for Commercial and Industrial applications.
* Possess a thorough understanding of computers and computer software including but not limited to Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
* Experience with estimating

Applicants must have an ability/experience to do the following:
* Estimate large Commercial/Industrial projects
* Read blueprints, specifications and NEC
* Travel to complete site visits and/or meetings with customers and owners
* Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
* Develop client relationships to create more business for firm
* Learn quickly company specific software such as EBM Estimating
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously each from $10k to over $5 million
* Read and create project schedules
* Direct support staff on project needs
* Plan for upcoming schedule milestone and target dates
* Monitor job progress and make necessary changes to meet goals
* Monitor job costs and complete Job Cost Projections
