Job Description

A leading design and build group is adding a Project Manager to their growing team. The company has a strong presence in agricultral and commercial construction with current and prospective projects across the Midwest. We are searching for an indivdual with solid project management experience that is looking to advance their career. The Project Manager will be partnering with the engineering and field staff on diverse projects in the area.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Aid in the management and performance of planning, designing, and building of projects
  • Manage all aspects of company projects, construction, budget, and cash management
  • Manage compliance with the project contract and client's needs
  • Oversee the project schedule, pay estimates, project procedures, staffing requirements, and equipment
  • Assess project contract and completed documents
  • Resolve any contract conflicts and scheduling issues
  • Review design drawings, prepare project specs, review plans for compliance and regulatory standards, make crucial corrections
  • Assist with Material take-off, purchasing, and estimating of projects
  • Properly evaluate bids, make recommendations, and aid in the management of large-scale projects
  • Office based setting, with travel when needed

Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related degree
  • 3 + years of project management experience preferably with Ag/Commercial experience
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Technical abilities
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills
