Job Description

QUALITY SUPERVISOR

  • Previous experience in quality control
  • Inspect production and keep accurate records of procedures and production criteria for each work order
  • Communicate to supervisor/manager any non-conforming parts and contain accordingly
  • Must be results oriented and coachable among various machines
  • Continuously improve all work processes through teamwork and cooperation
  • Verifies quality standards of produced parts and incoming materials prior to production use as required
  • Maintain contact with customers on a weekly basis for follow up and proactive quality solutions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer complaints, create an action plan to solve the complaint, and see through to a solution.
  • Provide support to the production team
  • Knowledge of part quality issues and defects
  • Operates testing and measurement equipment including, but not limited to, calipers, microscopes, vision system, micrometer, gauges, drop indicators, hydraulic presses and torque wrench
  • Excellent communication skills are critical with attention to detail when inspecting all parts to ensure quality is not compromised
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints

QUALITY INSPECTOR REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience with GMP's
    • HACCP program experience
    • Familiar with regulatory auditing
    • Experience with calibration schedules
    • Experience with quality hold processes

QUALITY INSPECTOR COMPENSATION

  • Hourly position: competitive rates based on experience level
