Electrical Engineer

Full Time

One of the top Architectural & Engineering firms in the area is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to be responsible for technical content and completeness of engineering documentation on assignments. Assignments may include simultaneous projects and direction of support staff. This is an excellent opportunity for engineer looking for the next step in their career who wants to get into the door of a growing east coast Architectural & Engineering firm.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes acquired skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs using trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling expertise.
  • Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves prescribed environmental conditions.
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams of other architects, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers
  • Performing site condition surveys
  • Projects involved are new construction, renovation and historic preservation projects for college and university and government clients.
  • Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.

Position Requirements:

  • REVIT MEP
  • AutoCAD is a plus
  • P.E. License
  • Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Experience working on projects within government, commercial, retail/industrial, warehouse and educational facilities
