Job Description

As a Commercial Loan Officer you will be in charge of evaluating loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness, improve loan applications and documentation by informing applicant of additional requirements and reject loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants. This position also approves loans by issuing checks or forwarding applications to loan committee and helps customers by answering questions. The right type of candidate would like to be a part of a growing bank and have an entrepreneur mindset! This is an extremely good opportunity for the right talent to make an impact for a highly reputable community bank.

With this role you will be able to build and manage your own commercial lending team. Responsibility to manage and hire your own team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Commercial Lending, preferably 10+ years (CRE and C&I)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong Business Development
  • Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products
  • Familiarity of the sales, loan processing and closing processes
  • Ability to multitask quickly and effectively
  • Good communication skills
  • Management experience
