  • Experience in the architectural design and schematics of solar PV systems or power electronics and electrical systems, electrical switchgear or sub-stations, distributed generation system design, and National Electric Code preferred.
  • Experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting PV systems is preferred.
  • Familiar with communication networks and SCADA communication systems preferred. Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills and have the ability to work with all types of customers and interface with the sales team, clients and other project team members.
  • Must have excellent prioritization, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be flexible, be able to adapt to new situations, have self-control, be self-motivated, take initiative and have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Must be willing and able to travel both nationally and internationally. Must be available to travel on short notice.
  • Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, lift 60 pounds, and able to work on feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in extreme environments, e.g. hot sun, below freezing, , etc.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Other responsibilities:

  • Assist Corporate R&D team with all U.S. PV and storage design requirements.
  • Assist in the design of U.S. PV and PV plus storage skids.
  • Prepare reports and documents for management.
  • Ensure tasks are performed according to organizational requirements for quality management and environmental, health and safety standards, policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical or equivalent.
  • OSHA-10, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, QEW certificates preferred.
