Structural Concrete Forman Ready for a Challenge

Our client is a Structural Concrete General Contractor, offering an exciting opportunity to step in and be a part of a growing team.

They are looking for a Concrete Foreman ready to step into a Superintendent role.

Essential Job Functions:
Directs the activities of workers engaged in construction and maintenance.
Responsible for managing the company's policies and expectations for safety, quality, and productivity.
Studies contract requirements and scope of work to establish execution plan for construction maintenance on basis of starting and completion times, staffing requirements for each phase of projects based on knowledge of available engineering drawings, materials, equipment, hour budgets, and schedule durations.
Ensures a safe work environment for all employees.
Inspects and supervises all work in progress at all levels and work locations to ensure that work conforms to specifications and that production schedules are adhered to.
Prepares or receives from subordinates, reports on productivity, progress, materials used, cost, and adjusts work schedules and execution plans as indicated by reports.
Establishes and oversees the means, methods, and schedule for performance of the scope of work.
Requirements:

  • 5+ years of previous experience as a Foreman in concrete construction.
  • Experience with structural concrete (slab on grade, cast-in-place, post-tension, etc.).
  • Experience with Columns, Rebar, and Forms.
  • Must possess a broad understanding of all aspects of construction including on-site inspection, verification of conformance with Contract Documents, scheduling, project budget/costs, progress reporting, and project closeout.
  • Excellent communitcation skills.
  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office, Procore, Bluebeam and other software products.
  • Must possess strong leadership ability to supervise team members, sub-contractors, and provide administrative backup to achieve our client's total satisfaction. Must interface with our client and make sure any problems that arise are resolved quickly.
