Structural Project Engineer, Assistant Director

Gpac has partnered with a firm who is seeking a talented Structural Project Engineer, Assistant Director to step into a mangement role. Join this company that has been an industry leader in the field of fall protection for over 30 years, working with owners, architects, and contractors to provide innovative turn-key engineering and training solutions for fall protection needs, worldwide. This is a managment position so desire to lead and mentor staff is required. Excellent communication skills needed.

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing engineered fall protection solutions.
• Manage day to day operational aspects of each project.
• Extensive project management
• Reviewing designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements and related specifications
• Must have leadership skills and desire to mentor and inspire staff.

Qualifications needed:

• Bachelors of Science in Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years project manangment and supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of engineering plans.
• Technical background and analytical abilities.
• Experience designing with various construction materials including steel, wood and concrete.
• P.E. preferred or E.I.T with progress to P.E.
• Knowledge of industry software including AutoCAD, Solidworks, MS office and RISA-3D a plus.
