One of the nation's most highly-respected Heavy Civil/Marine construction General Contractors is growing and looking for a Superintendent to join their team.

With over 100 years of history in heavy civil, environmental, marine, dam, and bridge construction, they are a leader in the industry.

The Superintendent is the on-site, direct supervisor of field crews. The Superintendent is also responsible for equipment, logistics, report writing, and client liaison activities in connection with construction projects.

Must be willing to travel.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with hiring for jobsite needs
  • Oversees the coordination of personnel
  • Responsible for pre-job planning process
  • Coordinates and plans with Clients
  • Performs on-site safety meetings and directs work to coincide with all safety requirement
  • Maintains schedules of job sites.


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the public and/or private heavy civil, marine construction, dam construction, bridge, railroad or environmental services markets preferred
  • Knowledgeable of heavy civil and/or marine construction current practices and regulations
  • Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem-solving
  • Ability to effectively mentor the professional development of field management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results
