VP or SVP level - Commercial Relationship Manager

Local Financial Institution is looking to add an experienced Commercial Relationship Manager to grow and manage a Commercial Loan Portfolio.

Position requires a minimum of 10 years experience in Commercial Lending and strong new business development. Candidates must have a good understanding of Commercial Lending along with Credit Analysis & Underwriting process. C&I focus, but can also write CRE & SBA.

  • 10+ years' prior Commercial Lending experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or other relevant field of study (strongly preferred, but not required; may be substituted with experience)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.....culture is important

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and manage a commercial loan portfolio.
  • Meet benchmarks in multiple facets including but not limited to portfolio growth and credit quality.
  • Promote new business development
  • Professionally represent the institution
  • Relationship building and management skills.
  • Understand and apply risk management policy and procedures.
  • Existing portfolio is a strong plus.
