Water Resource Engineer

Actively working with a reputable Engineering Firm seeking a Water Resources engineer with a go getter attuite. They to be responsible for technical content and completion of engineering documentation on assignments. This is an excellent opportunity for engineer looking for the next step in their career who wants to get into the door of a growing Engineering firm. They have 50 years of experience in multiple sectors including Water Resources, Geotechnical, Transportation, and Structural.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create and analyze hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality models.
  • Design and review storm water collection and treatment systems.
  • Lead production of design calculations and technical reports for water resources facilities
  • Complete tasks on schedule with pride and ownership of your work
  • Provide expertise to internal and external clients to resolve complex problems and issues
  • Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
  • Provide guidance to junior-level team members

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
  • 4 or more years' experience working with design of drinking water, wastewater and storm water infrastructure projects.
  • Preferably PE
  • Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling. Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HydroCAD, SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, and other related hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design software
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Construction document preparation and modeling experience desired
  • Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
