Senior Credit Analyst

I am a third party recruiter in the banking industry, and I have a real job for a Senior Credit Analyst in a client company that I have placed with before. I have other needs in other states, but this one is for Indiana. I am excited to help find a top candidate for this wonderful, team oriented, communicative, and family friendly community bank.

The ideal candidate for this position will have current work experience in a banking or financial institution and will know how to get all of the proper documentation for working the background information on many types of loans, especially more complicated loans such as commercial and agricultural loans. This individual will work closely with loan officers and customers gathering information as needed. A proven ability to make good decisions for approving loans is vital. Management and mentorship or leadership for training others is also a key element in the successful hired person. This is the person who will have the stamp of approval on some loans.

The ability to accurately file reports and data and knowledge of current software for banking is desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for success. Ability to defend decisions in a professional manner, in a communicative and team positive way is an ideal people skill.

Requirements:

  • CPA or Strong accounting background preferred especially in the income tax field
  • MPA/MSA is desired, Bachelor's degree minimum
  • 5-7 years banking credit specific experience
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Microsoft Office environment and also current banking software such as WebEquity, SageWorks or related custom software is preferred.
