Credit Analyst in Muscatine Iowa at GPAC

Job Description

My client is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to round out their commercial credit team. The credit analyst would review, analyze and evaluate credit data for assigned business lines, including Asset Based Lending, Equipment, and other C&I lending. Our credit analysts make recommendations for final loan approval while ensuring that our minimal risk exposure is consistent with the Bank's credit quality policies, guidelines, and appetite.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of financial data such as balance sheets, income statements, tax returns, income growth, quality of management, market share, appraisals, entity structures, and business plans in order to make recommendations with regards to credit.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of Credit Analyst Experience (Greater Compensation will result is Greater Compensation)
• Previous experience in a community bank setting is preferred, but not a deal breaker.
• Understanding of credit approval, processing, and underwriting.
• Knowledge of CRE/C&I lending and financial institution policies and procedures.
• Ability to work on a team.
