Electrical Project Manager Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a results oriented Electrical Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is primarily responsible for job project management, estimating, job design and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to customer service calls.
  • Direct and supervise activities of each project.
  • Estimate and sell electrical work for commercial construction projects.
  • Survey job sites as needed.
  • Design-build per NEC and all electrical standards.
  • Secure subcontractors using standard subcontract agreements
  • Manage, plan, and coordinate projects to optimize the use of labor, materials, equipment and tools
  • Ability to manage projects up to $5MM
  • Have a positive attitdue towards completing the project and fellow team members.
  • Help recruit highly motivated and skilled trademen to become team members within our company.
  • Supply, carry and maintain all tools required by the employee manual.
  • Responsible for monthly forecasting and project billing including construction schedule and values.

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Good knowledge of commercial electrical construction industry
  • Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude and professional customer service skills
  • Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Project, and electronic estimating software
  • Proficient with Accubid estimating program
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Results oriented, competitive, customer service oriented mind set
  • 5+ years successful electrical PM experience (large job experience and OSHA 30 a plus)

Education:

Two (2) year technical degree or similar experience in the electrical construction field. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. CAD skills a plus.
