Construction Project Manager - Fort Collins, CO

We are actively looking for a self-motivated Construction Project Manager to join our construction team in the Fort Collins office.

The Company's portfolio is comprised of various commercial construction projects throughout Colorado.

The position requires a self-starter whose primary responsibilities will include management of multiple construction projects and superintendents, client reporting and creation and enforcement of budgets and schedules. The position will report to directly to the director of construction. We strive to provide a collaborative, creative environment where each individual is encouraged to contribute to our progress, processes, growth, planning, and culture.

Job candidates should be outgoing and possess strong people skills with the ability to lead a construction team from the bid process through turn key construction. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate with multiple departments in the company to ensure the team executes the end goal of delivering a quality product to the client on schedule and under budget.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management of construction projects
  • Supervision of project teams and subcontractors
  • Execution of project requirements
  • Plan reading, comprehension and take-offs
  • Proposal creation
  • Managing change orders and claims
  • Contract and scope negotiations
  • Management of project schedules
  • Cost control
  • Problem solving abilities and a "get-it-done" attitude
  • Client interaction
  • Compiling information and documentation of project contractual requirements
  • Ability to meet fast paced and dynamic schedules and deadlines
  • Preparing detailed status reports
  • Evaluating and reviewing plans, specifications and engineering reports with ability to implement design requirements
  • Technical knowledge and ability to communicate technical concepts to others
  • Travel required
