Grant Manager
We have partnered with a wonderful nonprofit company that is looking for an experienced Grants Manager to join the team.
The Grants Manager in this position works closely with the CEO and Vice-President of Partnerships to continue building a strong base of support by identifying, researching, and writing grant proposals to foundations, corporations and businesses, civic groups, places of worship, and other organizations. This position also requires stewarding grantors by reporting on grant results.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research grant opportunities that will help fund the organizations general operations and programs.
- Write grant proposals in accordance with grantor standards or requirements.
- Establish a working network with prospective and existing grantors.
- Establish an awareness of potentially fundable programs and projects.
- Work with prospective and existing grantors to develop funding proposals.
- Work with members of various departments to gain information for grant proposals.
- Oversee all grant reporting and status reports.
- Make presentations before potential grantors and other members of the community.
- Give tours of organization to prospective donors and members of community.
- Help with Outreach Efforts to better spread the mission of the organization.
- Assist with events and activities when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 year’s related experience in communications, journalism, or grant writing required.
- Ability to generate reports and analyze trends related to grants.
- Ability to organize and maintain detailed records, complete necessary paperwork, and meet deadlines.
- Travel throughout the Southwest Florida area may be required.
- Flexibility in schedule to work evenings and weekends may be required.
- Provide Verification to legally work in the US upon hire and update, if required.
